Inspiration Radio began as Swain County Christian Radio. A partnership with a local private school launched a 100 watt FM station in 2015. The station now broadcasts locally on 1620AM after the partnership was dissolved. Engineering efforts are underway to bring a regional FM signal to the area providing traditional Southern Gospel, Country Gospel, and Bluegrass Gospel, which is an under served segment in Western North Carolina. Owned by the nonprofit corporation Lowe Media, a new joint venture began with the Inspirations of Bryson City. We're pleased to bring you Inspiration Radio. We appreciate your prayers and support.
